Ingredients:

120g lean ground beef
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons all
purpose flour
3/4 cup low
sodium beef broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain off any excess fat.
Add the onion, celery, mushrooms, garlic powder, thyme leaves and black pepper to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until vegetables are softened.
Stir in the tomato paste and flour until combined. Slowly add in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce while stirring constantly until mixture is thickened.
Transfer mixture to an oven safe baking dish and bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and heated through. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes or over cooked rice or noodles if desired.
