Ingredients:

2 slices of sourdough bread
2 tablespoons butter, softened
2 ounces Havarti cheese, sliced thin
4 asparagus spears, trimmed and cut into 1
inch pieces
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt. Place the two slices of sourdough bread in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides. Remove from heat and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the olive oil and asparagus pieces. Cook for about 5 minutes or until tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Place the cooked asparagus onto one slice of bread then top with the Havarti cheese slices. Place the other slice of bread on top to form a sandwich.
Return the skillet to medium heat and place the sandwich in it. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side or until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown on both sides.
