Ingredients:

2 large onions, sliced into rings
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon of fresh thyme leaves
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat your smoker to 225°F.
Place the sliced onions in a large bowl and add the minced garlic, thyme leaves, olive oil, salt and pepper. Mix everything together until the onions are evenly coated.
Place the onion mixture onto a sheet pan lined with foil or parchment paper.
Place the sheet pan into the preheated smoker and cook for 45 minutes or until the onions are tender and lightly browned.
Serve warm as a side dish or topping for burgers or sandwiches.
