Ingredients:

2 slices of rye bread
2 tablespoons of butter, divided
1/2 cup of sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup of shredded Swiss cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet and let it melt.
Add the mushrooms to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender. Remove from heat and set aside.
Spread the remaining butter onto one side of each slice of rye bread. Place one slice in the skillet, butter side down, and top with the cooked mushrooms and shredded Swiss cheese. Top with the remaining slice of bread, butter side up.
Cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown on both sides. Serve warm.
