Ingredients:

2 tablespoons of white vinegar
1 tablespoon of molasses or dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon of anchovy paste or 2 anchovy fillets, mashed into a paste
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon of onion powder
1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon of ground allspice or cloves

Cooking Instructions:

In a small bowl, combine the white vinegar, molasses or dark brown sugar, anchovy paste or mashed anchovy fillets, garlic powder, onion powder, ground black pepper and ground allspice or cloves.
Mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
Transfer the mixture to a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool before transferring to an airtight container for storage in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
