Ingredients:

1 cup all
purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons melted butter or vegetable oil
1 large egg

Cooking Instructions:

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, melted butter or oil and egg until combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (do not overmix). The batter should be slightly lumpy.
Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
Using a 1/4 cup measure, scoop the batter onto the hot skillet or griddle and spread into 4-inch circles. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until bubbles form on top of the pancakes and the edges are golden brown. Flip and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown on both sides. Serve warm with your favorite toppings!
