Ingredients:

2 slices of whole wheat bread
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
2 tablespoons of jelly or jam of your choice
1/2 cup of almond milk
1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon of melted butter or coconut oil for cooking
1/2 cup of fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, banana slices etc.) for topping

Cooking Instructions:

In a shallow bowl, whisk together the almond milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and melted butter or coconut oil.
Dip each slice of bread into the mixture until it is fully coated.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the coated bread slices to the pan. Cook for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Spread peanut butter on one slice of toast and jelly on the other slice. Place them together to form a sandwich.
