Ingredients:

1/2 cup uncooked macaroni noodles
1/4 cup diced onion
1/4 cup diced bell pepper
1/2 cup cooked black beans (or canned)
1/2 cup cooked kidney beans (or canned)
1/2 cup vegetable broth or water
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the macaroni noodles and cook according to package instructions. Drain the noodles and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the onion and bell pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until softened. Add the black beans, kidney beans, vegetable broth or water, tomato paste, chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir to combine all ingredients together. Simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Add the cooked macaroni noodles to the skillet and stir until everything is combined together. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes until heated through. Serve hot!
