Ingredients:

2 slices of white bread
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
2 tablespoons of jelly or jam of your choice
1/4 cup of almond milk
1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon of butter or margarine for cooking the toast
1/4 cup of fresh fruit (optional)
2 tablespoons of granola (optional)

Cooking Instructions:

In a shallow bowl or plate, combine the almond milk, cinnamon and nutmeg together until well blended.
Spread the peanut butter on one slice of bread and the jelly on the other slice. Place them together to make a sandwich.
Dip the sandwich into the almond milk mixture until it is completely coated on both sides.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter or margarine to it. Once melted, add the french toast sandwich to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Serve with fresh fruit and granola if desired. Enjoy!
