Ingredients:

1 duck breast (approx. 500g)
2 tablespoons of sea salt
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of onion powder

Cooking Instructions:

Place the duck breast in a large zip-lock bag and add the salt, sugar, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Seal the bag and massage the ingredients into the meat until it is evenly coated.
Place the bag in a sous vide water bath set to 57°C/135°F and cook for 4 hours.
Remove the duck from the bag and pat dry with paper towels.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add some oil or butter to it. Sear the duck breast for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
Slice into thin slices and serve with your favorite sides or sauces!
