Ingredients:

1 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon of all
purpose flour
½ cup of chicken broth or stock
½ cup of heavy cream or half and half cream
¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
¼ teaspoon of onion powder
¼ teaspoon of dried thyme leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup cooked crab meat

Cooking Instructions:

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the flour and stir until combined. Cook for 1 minute.
Add the chicken broth or stock and stir until combined. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
Add the heavy cream or half and half cream and stir until combined. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened again.
Add the garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme leaves, salt and pepper to taste and stir until combined. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened again.
Add the cooked crab meat and stir until combined. Simmer for 5 minutes until heated through.
Serve hot with a sprinkle of fresh parsley if desired! Enjoy!
