Ingredients:

2 cups all
purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled slightly
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3/4 cup buttermilk

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan with butter or nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar and cinnamon until combined. Add the buttermilk and mix until combined.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined (do not overmix). The batter will be thick.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula or spoon. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
