Ingredients:

2 cups of macaroni noodles
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of all
purpose flour
1 cup of milk
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup of breadcrumbs

Cooking Instructions:

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the macaroni noodles and cook for 8 minutes or until al dente. Drain the noodles in a colander.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the flour and whisk together until combined. Slowly add the milk while whisking continuously until the mixture is smooth. Cook for 3 minutes or until thickened.
Reduce the heat to low and add the cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper to taste. Stir until the cheese is melted and combined with the sauce.
Add the cooked macaroni noodles to the saucepan with the cheese sauce and stir until combined. Transfer to a greased baking dish or skillet.
Sprinkle breadcrumbs over top of macaroni mixture in an even layer then bake in preheated oven at 350°F for 15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
