1/4 cup (60 ml) rice vinegar
2 tablespoons (30 ml) sugar
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) salt
1/4 cup (60 ml) water
2 ounces (56 g) fresh ginger root, peeled and thinly sliced into rounds
