Ingredients:

200g dried pasta of your choice
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped finely
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped finely

Cooking Instructions:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a food processor or blender, combine the garlic, nutritional yeast flakes, lemon juice, sea salt and black pepper until smooth. Add the basil leaves and walnuts and blend until combined.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the pesto sauce until evenly coated. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
