Ingredients:

200g Fettuccine pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
200g sausage, diced or crumbled
1 red bell pepper, diced
2 tablespoons tomato paste
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. (If using olive oil, heat it in a large skillet over medium heat.)
Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes more.
Add the bell pepper and cook for another 3 minutes. Stir in the tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes or until everything is combined and heated through.
Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss everything together until combined. Serve hot!
