Ingredients:

50g plain flour
25g butter, melted and cooled slightly
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons granulated sweetener (or to taste)
2 tablespoons chopped dried figs

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and cinnamon.
Add the melted butter and sweetener and mix until combined.
Stir in the chopped figs until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Using your hands, form the dough into small balls and place on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Flatten each ball slightly with your fingers or a fork.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown on top and lightly browned on the bottom. Allow to cool before serving.
