Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into cubes
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all
purpose flour
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup cooked penne pasta

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the cream, Parmesan cheese, oregano leaves, salt and pepper. Cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce is thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter then whisk in the flour until combined. Slowly add in the chicken broth while whisking constantly until smooth and thickened, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
In an oven-safe dish combine the cooked chicken cubes with the cooked pasta then pour over both sauces and mix together until combined evenly throughout the dish. Top with additional Parmesan cheese if desired then bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown on top. Serve hot!
