Ingredients:

60g of dried pasta of your choice
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 cup of tomato sauce or diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
2 tablespoons of chopped fresh basil leaves
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the cooked pasta and set aside.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the tomato sauce or diced tomatoes to the skillet and stir to combine with the garlic mixture. Simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the tomato sauce mixture and stir to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Remove from heat and stir in the chopped basil leaves, salt, and pepper to taste. Serve immediately while hot!
