Ingredients:

200g mussels
200g clams
1/2 cup diced onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup white wine or vegetable broth
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions:

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the mussels and clams to the skillet and cook for 3 minutes. Pour in the white wine or vegetable broth and sprinkle with thyme leaves, salt, and pepper. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook until all of the shellfish have opened up, about 5-7 minutes.
Discard any unopened shellfish before serving. Serve warm with crusty bread or over cooked rice if desired.
