Ingredients:

200g broken rice
150g beef, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, diced
1 teaspoon fish sauce
1 teaspoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and onion and cook until softened.
Add the beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the broken rice to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for 3-4 minutes until lightly browned.
Add the fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and ¼ cup of water to the skillet and stir to combine. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until all liquid is absorbed by the rice.
