Ingredients:

200g cooked udon noodles
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 onion, sliced into thin strips
1/2 carrot, sliced into thin strips
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons mirin (sweet rice wine) or sake (rice wine)

Cooking Instructions:

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and carrot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
Add the cooked udon noodles to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables.
Pour in the soy sauce and mirin or sake and stir to combine everything together. Cook for another 5 minutes until everything is heated through and combined together nicely.
Serve hot with your favorite toppings such as green onions or sesame seeds if desired. Enjoy!
