Ingredients:

200g pork mince
1 onion (diced)
1 carrot (diced)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons mirin
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons sake or white wine

Cooking Instructions:

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the pork mince and cook until browned.
Add the onion, carrot, garlic, soy sauce, mirin, sugar and sake or white wine to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into an oval shape on a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C. Place the ovals onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15 minutes until cooked through.
Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles as desired. Enjoy!
