Ingredients:

2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
2 tablespoons oil
Salt to taste
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder (haldi)
½ teaspoon red chilli powder
½ teaspoon garam masala powder

Cooking Instructions:

Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
Add the cubed potatoes to the pan and stir to coat them with the oil and cumin seeds.
Add salt to taste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala powder. Stir everything together until all the spices are evenly distributed on the potatoes.
Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through and tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking or burning.
Once cooked through, turn off the heat and serve hot with chapatis or rice!
