Ingredients:

2 cups all
purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons melted butter or ghee (clarified butter)
3/4 cup warm water

Cooking Instructions:

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
Add the melted butter or ghee and mix until it is evenly distributed throughout the flour mixture.
Slowly add the warm water and knead until you have a soft dough that is not sticky.
Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball shape.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out each ball of dough into an oval shape about 1/4 inch thick.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and place one naan at a time onto the skillet for about 1 minute on each side until lightly browned and cooked through.
