Ingredients:

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon ground coriander
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 green chillies, finely chopped
1 large potato, peeled and diced into small cubes
½ cup frozen peas
Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened.
Add the cumin seeds, ground coriander, turmeric powder, garlic and chillies and cook for another minute or two until fragrant.
Add the potato cubes and stir to combine with the spices. Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes or until the potatoes are almost cooked through.
Add the frozen peas and salt to taste and stir to combine everything together. Cover with a lid again and cook for another 5 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through completely.
Serve hot as a side dish or as an appetizer with your favorite chutney or sauce!
