Ingredients:

2 large potatoes (boiled and mashed)
1/2 cup of green peas (boiled)
1/4 cup of chopped onions
1/4 cup of chopped coriander leaves
2 tablespoons of gram flour (besan)
1 teaspoon of cumin powder (jeera)
1 teaspoon of coriander powder (dhania)
1 teaspoon of red chilli powder (lal mirch)
Salt to taste For the Yogurt Sauce:
1/2 cup of plain yogurt
2 tablespoons of chopped mint leaves
2 tablespoons of chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions:

In a bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, green peas, onions, coriander leaves, gram flour, cumin powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
Divide the mixture into four equal parts and shape each part into a patty or tikki.
Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat and shallow fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides.
To make the yogurt sauce, mix together the yogurt, mint leaves and coriander leaves in a bowl and season with salt to taste.
Serve the aloo tikkis hot with the yogurt sauce on top or on the side.
