Ingredients:

200g lean ground beef
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced bell pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika powder
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons water
4 whole wheat tortillas
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional toppings such as salsa, guacamole, sour cream, cheese etc.

Cooking Instructions:

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Break up the meat with a wooden spoon as it cooks. Once cooked through, remove from the heat and set aside.
In the same skillet over medium heat, add the onion and bell pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened. Add the garlic powder, chili powder, cumin powder and paprika powder to the vegetables and stir to combine. Cook for an additional minute or two until fragrant.
Add the cooked ground beef back into the skillet along with the tomato paste and water. Stir to combine everything together and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or so until everything is heated through.
To assemble your burritos, place one tortilla on a plate or cutting board then spoon some of the beef mixture onto one side of it leaving about an inch of space around all sides of the filling so that you can fold it up easily without spilling any out of your burrito when you roll it up later on! Top with any desired toppings such as salsa, guacamole or sour cream then fold up your burrito by folding in both sides first then rolling it up from bottom to top like a burrito should be rolled! Repeat this process for each burrito you are making then serve immediately while still warm! Enjoy!
