Ingredients:

100g lean ground beef
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 whole wheat tortillas
2 tablespoons salsa
1/4 cup shredded cheese of your choice

Cooking Instructions:

In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
Add the garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin powder, salt and pepper to the cooked beef and stir to combine. Cook for an additional minute or two until the spices are fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place one of the tortillas in the skillet and spread half of the cooked beef mixture over it in an even layer. Top with half of the salsa and half of the shredded cheese. Place the other tortilla on top of this layer and press down lightly with a spatula to help it stick together better.
Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown on one side then flip over carefully using a spatula and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until golden brown on both sides and cheese is melted inside. Remove from heat and cut into wedges using a pizza cutter or sharp knife before serving warm with extra salsa if desired.
